Perfect Patchwork Newsletter Aug/Sept 2010
Welcome back, and a warm welcome to our new customers.
We have had a very exciting month with a trip to the NEC for the Festival of Quilts; where there was an extensive display of fabulous quilts of every type imaginable, from traditional to art quilts, picture quilts and much more. We had an amazing time and took lots of photos, if you would like to see some of what was on display take a look at the following link:
Our extension; which is being built especially to house our 10 foot quilting frame; is nearly complete and we are looking forward to moving the frame into place and freeing up more work space. We will publish some photos once everything is in place. When all the building work is complete we are considering starting a local group for patchworkers and quilters in
Our focus this month (apart from the building work) has been on the art trail we are participating in; which is at the beginning of November, and takes place in Bristol; if you are in the area do come along and introduce yourselves. With this in mind we have been designing and creating a range of wallhangings, utilising various materials including Organza and foil techniques. Check out some of the pictures below to see what we have been making.
Some of these may make it to the website.
We are still taking regular commissions, and this month we are working on a delightful ‘Windmill’ comfort blanket; designed by, and being created by, myself (Felicity). Photos to follow.
We try and keep you up-to-date with all the changes to our website via this newsletter, but if there is anything you would like included please let us know by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
We have decided to continue our special offer for new customers, of a 10% discount voucher valid for their second order.
We are still working on a range of Patchwork Bags, and the first of these is available on the website; created in a range of co-ordinating fabrics. We have used the ‘strip and flip’ method of piecing and this gives a lovely depth to the bag, take a look.
Do keep checking out the site for updates as these happen very regularly.
Do remember we are always happy to discuss private orders, and can accommodate individual measurements and colour ways.
If anyone has product ideas that they would like us to create and put on the site, let us know and we will do our best to oblige.
If you have any requests of what you would like to see on our website please get in touch. We would love to hear from you. (email@example.com)
